“SacAnime is the anime convention “where fans come to play,” providing Japanese-influenced pop culture fun for the entire family. Events include live concerts with Kazha and Raj Ramayya, a huge vendors room, karaoke contest, cosplay masquerade, lolita tea party, maid cafe, video game tournaments, artists alley, panels and workshops, and much more.
Special guests include: Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman; Liam O’Brien from Resident Evil; Maile Flanagan of Naruto and Jakers!; Hynden Walch from Adventure Time and Teen Titans; and many others!”
Happy New Year!
My only REAL connection to my nephews is via Anime – They are reaching that teenage period where they are closing up and going through changes in life and this is my way to get them involved with positive/creative outlets to steer them away from trouble. They both live in neighborhoods rich with gang violence and I am always trying to find healthy creative avenues and choices to make and follow.
I grew up with Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner. This is the new wave of animation and I find myself getting hooked. It is not just for the young, but also for the young at heart (plus I have to watch it so that I know what my son is talking about). Thanks.
This would be a great opportunity for me and my teenage son to bond. He is always drug out to events and volunteering causes that I am involved in. I would like to acknowledge his constant good sportsmanship and learn about something he enjoys.
I want to take my two friends! They work 50+ hours a week, they never get a break, and need to have some fun! All three of us LOVE anime, and I think it would give them an amazing start for 2013!
I want to take my little sister, she just turned 18 and has always loved anime. Loves yo watch it on tv, check out web sites and read anime comic books. She would be thrilled if I won tickets and took her. I remember watching Ranma 1/2 as a young kid and understand why she loves anime so much.
Thank
